EMDR

A Session Offering

A path back to yourself,
one memory at a time. .

I offer Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) as part of my sessions a gentle way to release old pain and heavy memories, so the past can finally stay in the past.

WHAT IS EMDR

Pain is pain and it deserves a gentle place to be released.

GENTLE MOVEMENT, LASTING CHANGE

"I offer Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) a unique and powerful method of healing.

EMDR is one of the sessions I offer  a gentle, intuitive way of working through pain, heavy memories, and difficult experiences that often sit quietly beneath the surface of daily life.

In our sessions, we work with the way your mind naturally processes and releases. Rather than asking you to relive every detail out loud, we simply help your mind finish the work it already knows how to do moving a memory from something that still hurts today to something that simply happened in the past. Reclaiming that sense of ease can change your life.

Gaining some mastery over your issues can change your life.

— What EMDR actually is

Not talk therapy in the usual sense your mind doing work it already knows how to do.

Most of us carry memories that never quite finished processing they stay stuck the way they felt in the moment, instead of settling into something that simply happened. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (guided eye movement, tapping, or sound) alongside a structured protocol to help the brain complete that processing. You won't be asked to narrate every detail out loud. My role is to guide the process and hold space, not to have you re-tell the story from beginning to end. For many people this makes EMDR feel more manageable than they expected though every person's experience with it is different, and I won't promise a specific outcome before we've actually worked together.
