When asked when I became a therapist or intuitive, my answer has always been “5 years old.” I have always been able to see what is happening beneath the surface, even when I didn’t fully understand what to do with it. A respected therapist once told me I should do this for a living because my brain naturally works that way. He said I wouldn’t be any different; I would simply have the credentials to prove it. I knew he was right when graduating with honors twice and earning a minor felt like the easiest thing I had ever done.
My intuitive abilities became more apparent during my first practicum, when my boss and colleagues often trusted my insights, even when they couldn’t understand how I knew. I could see things others missed, without any clear explanation. Later, another therapist helped me understand that my intuition was real, especially when dealing with someone who constantly lied. That realization taught me to trust my instincts and freed me from a difficult situation.
I knew I was in the right profession because of the positive feedback I received and the joy I felt going to work. Being called unique helped me recognize that something about my approach was different. I began exploring psychic groups for fun and discovered how naturally in tune I was. Over time, I started incorporating my intuitive gifts into both my life and my work.
Recently, I completed a 10-week course and became certified as a Gifted Intuitive Coach. I have downplayed my gifts for too long, and now I am embracing them more fully. Many clients are drawn to my intuitive abilities and appreciate having energy readings included in their sessions. I find great joy in helping others develop their intuition, discover their gifts, and watching their souls come alive through my coaching courses.
